 Review plan and initiate improvement projects to upgrade protection schemes.
 Develop maintenance programs for protection relaying, grid equipment/ machines, underground and overhead power lines and Annual preventive maintenance shutdowns.
 Performs all work as per company SOP’s and HSEQ policies. Able to monitor matters related to HSE hazard identification and risk control.
 Specialist knowledge regarding electrical maintenance activities of transformers, switchgears and Ct’s Pt.’s.
 Following commissioning and testing of transformers;
Siemens, ABB, Hyundai, BBC, ELTA, Trafo Union, HEC and Chint (10 MVA to 40 MVA)
 TTR (Transformer Turn Ratio) Test, IR Test, Winding Resistance Test, Short Circuit Test, Open Circuit Test, Tangent Delta Test, Differential stability test. Bacholz test, OLTC tripping test, Thermal replica test, oil and winding temperature test.
 Following testing of LV and HV switchgears;
 Hipot test (AC and DC), Contact resistance and timing test.
 Troubleshooting, testing and commissioning of following protection relays;
 Over current / Earth fault, Distance, Transformer/Line differential, Under frequency, Synchro check, Breaker failure, Auto reclosure, Bus bar protection (LIBB), BCU and REF.
 Command over protective relays software’s on Digsi (Siemen), Micom s1 studio, Micom s1 agile (Alstom), Enervista UR (GE) and PCM 600 ABB.
 Performing emergency and routine nature tasks assigned by Assistant manager/Manager on 24/7/365 basis.
 Troubleshooting of control wiring of switchgears. On-site wiring, primary and secondary testing of CT’s and PT’s of 220kV/132kV/11kV.
